Normal People
by Sally Rooney

I've heard mixed reviews on this one, but I actually enjoyed it so much! I can see why other people may have had a difficult time with it, but I liked the narration, writing style, and story. I'm a little nervous to read her other books, because I've heard that if you liked Normal People, you won't like Conversations With Friends, and vice versa. This books follows Marianne and Connell throughout their high school years, through college and beyond. I love stories that follow characters as they get older, as they grow and change and learn more about the world and themselves. Marianne and Connell are two people who no matter what, always seem to be drawn back together. Their lives have a lot of ups and downs, and they have so many situations where things could have gone in a different direction. In terms of their relationship, there are a lot of misunderstandings and a lot of decisions that are made that leave you wondering "what if?" If this sounds up your alley, I highly suggest you give it a try!

Highly recommend

Neverwhere: BBC Dramatisation
by Neil Gaiman

Exceptional! I can't recommend this enough. I think it might be a bit confusing for people who aren't already fans of the novel, so I wouldn't suggest this as a first listen. However, as someone who already loves the book, this was absolutely delightful.
